I think one potential area are services like speech or OT therapy. It is guaranteed under IDEA-schools try to fight it- but usually lose. W/o federal oversight families will have to use insurance- if they have it-and will have to fight for auth. Time lost for child, and less intensive therapy.

I’m in ECE and have 20 years in early intervention. I’ve been to enough IEP meetings as a parent and advocate to know that turning over special education to HHS and the states will unravel decades of progress. Without strong federal oversight- many states and school districts will gut services.

I completely agree! AI has positively changed how I teach. The human element is essential - but AI can enhance the student learning experience when used responsibly. It is up to us to show them how.
