Interesting too that the Republican Supreme Court in Texas might throw out votes from Dallas County, where Crockett is strongest. It’s like they want to make it harder for the Rs to hold the seat. And…if Crockett gets screwed by the ruling, her voters may still show up in November.

This was my thought exactly as I was reading the opinions. The justices let tens of millions of illegal taxes get collected because they needed to conduct a, em, circle jerk over doctrinal purity.

These answers were a pleasant contrast from those given by Bondi at yesterday’s hearing. They’re throwing Noem under the bus.

What’s he going to do with this tariff dividend when SCOTUS orders a refund? Given the way he ran his casinos, he’ll likely spend it anyway.

But wouldn’t it have been much faster and safer for the ICE agent to just step out of the way? The DOJ policy on use of force (though admittedly n/a as to DHS) explicitly requires this instead of shooting in a situation like this.
