Cant tell if he’s being cynical or not but my assumption is he wants to make it seem like people in games media all have an agenda against them and the thing his audience likes. It’s just so stupid for that this shallow virtue signaling to the chuds is still prevalent and gets motion.

Steve Hall would be a good one (he co-wrote a book called “The Death of the Left”) Musa Al-Gharib (wrote “We Have Never Been Woke”), and Benjamin Studebaker. Also, C. Derick Varn (Varnvlog).

At this point that they don’t have to hide it & the people in the administration who’ll make the decision know at some level that they probable won’t be held accountable cause no one has been from Iraq, the sub prime loan crisis, Jan 6th & more. Dems have abdicated that responsibility for decades

It was incredible that they would assume they could disgustingly support a genocide in Gaza and not have it affect their support from the parties base when the defining political event for a possible the vast majority of their age 29-50 supporters is the Iraq war and the war on terror.

I feel like that effectively ended with the demise of Bernie’s 2020 campaign and split into a bunch of different “left” branded internet subcultures.

It took me starting that game about 3 times to stick with it. Combat is great and so is the world and atmosphere like a combination of twin peaks the x files

I think the left should be more thoughtful and put an emphasis on an actual political program/policy agenda. Zohran’s campaign is evidence of that, also I think people undersell the fact that Bernie’s candidacy at national level gained as much momentum as it did because it was centered on healthcare

Different book but have you read “We Have Never Been Woke: The Cultural Contradictions of a New Elite” by Musa al-Gharbi, might make for a good video essay in the future.
