Haha! Let me tell you that item no. 4 is a big yes! This is something that the conventional conceptualisation of collectivism often fails to capture. In some contexts, I would even go as far as saying that competition is encouraged. Thanks for sharing this!

Definitely useful, and it totally makes sense! I think you and your team did a fantastic job operationalising “collectivism.” I think “responsibilism” captures more accurately many of the Filipino cultural psychological constructs that collectivism can’t quite pin down.
