Oooh this one sounds like a tricky challenge! I don't know if I could do it!

"Robotech: The Macross Saga"

It's kind of amazing I once lived at a time where a twelve cent coupon was a significant discount...enough to make me try a new product!

Interesting indeed! I'm just through the forward and thesis statement. It is rather otherworldly to read something so scholarly about something that is contemporary (and in a state of flux).

I think I'll need the hopeful bent you mentioned. It's quite a ride so far.

Thanks to our local library, I got a copy! Thanks for turning me on to this book.

I am *rolls d20* HAPPY for you!

I remember being so excited and enthralled to see it! My first thought was that Enterprise-D looked like it was going to tip over. :)

I loved watching TNG each week on my *gasp* black and white television!

It's funny, my wife is now exploring French New Wave cinema right now, and "Weekend" came up in our discussions. I thought it funny to see it mentioned here.

I was very nervous about posting and being "that guy" here on Bluesky by making a trigger warning. Thank you, both of you, for being cool!

An excellent choice! Heads up though...(also a spoiler)...this film portrays actual real animal slaughter with no warning. It greatly upset many people in my film class back in the day. Which of course, was Godard's aim.

I just can't wrap my head around this

I'm not proud of this joke. I was really shocked to see you can use a credit card to use the compressor. I remember the old pumps mounted on a wall that had an analogue bell and everything.

As a Canadian (who was born and raised in Ontario), seeing the "Officially Pronounced Dead" patch was really something!

Ah, I see our cat Banjo walked across my computer when I left the room.

Thanks for turning me on to The Specials!

I'm glad you liked Johnette Napolitano's efforts. I'm certainly a fan.
