Although two inches of rain won't end the drought, I suspect there will be flooding. This potential "weather whiplash" is typical in a warming world. When it's dry, intense droughts quickly develop. But when it rains, it rains harder.

That map is accurate. In this USACE proposal, the municipality that would see the most homes elevated is Homestead. Kendall is similar regarding it's low-lying exposure to the surging seas
