My wife was watching a British cooking/travel show where they visited Chris Stewart, of Genesis fame. Mr. Stewart explained that they would be cooking and eating the wild boar that had been getting into the vegetable patch. So, two birds with one stone and all that.

I've seen a lot of buildings lit up pink to honor Dolly, and I love it.

We just lost 3 really important mentors who taught us to laugh, be kind, & to stand up for others.

Managed to do a little painting today. I'm recovering from a hand injury, so it's more technique than skill.

Things are getting really expensive lately. Food, gas, goods, & services all going up.
What pisses me off is the why. If things were more expensive so that the average person could afford a decent life I wouldn't mind. I'd gladly pay a little more for that.
