It is so absurd that politicians in Canada straight up refuse to acknowledge that for-profit housing is a broken system that has spent decades not delivering enough housing and now it can't even deliver profits.

Canadian companies are arming Israel's genocide in Gaza, Trump's illegal wars, and ICE raids. The U.S. Loophole means 60% of Canadian arms exports — those that go to US — are exempted from oversight or permitting.

Canada must cut off this unregulated flow of arms by passing No More Loopholes Act

People like Musk love linking homelessness to addiction and mental illness because it allows them to divert attention from the true causes of this worsening crisis—soaring rents, poverty wages, a lack of tenant rights—while shifting blame onto individuals instead of the systems that brutalize them.
