Australian here - was the USA always so divided? I don’t just mean politically, I mean with such hate for (some) fellow men…i.e. men of a different class/different immigration source (isn’t everyone an immigrant unless Native American?). I now see it here too but of course at a much smaller scale.

I used to occasionally see these butt-ugly cars on the road here in Australia…fortunately they were few and far between…more fortunately they must now all be no more than piles of rust as I haven’t seen one in many, many years. What was Ford thinking!
