Fourth spooky movie of the season was “Resident Evil” (2026)! It had a lot of scary parts! At one point something spooked me so bad that I jumped and accidentally spilled a bunch of popcorn on the lady next to me. (Thankfully she thought it was funny, and didn’t get upset)

Third spooky movie of the season was a screening of indie film “Portal to Hell”! A small scale off-beat comedy of the kind that doesn’t get made too often anymore. Not all of it worked for me but I liked what it was trying for. And I like that it had Richard Kind voicing a demon youtu.be/V6pn-A3d5Ak

The unicorn bicycle turned out great! What a tricky prompt to have to draw on the spot

Second spooky movie of the season is “Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma” (2026). Was really glad I managed to catch it in theatres before it left. Still processing parts of it, but I think it might be a bit of a masterpiece

First spooky movie of the season is a rewatch of “The Wretched” (2019). Teenagers fighting a creepy skin-stealing witch, let’s go!

Thanks friend! I know I told you about how much of a beast this project was to work on. But I’m so pleased with how it turned out. And I can’t wait for folks to finally get to read it!

Think of the ten most popular authors you know. They probably don’t need preorders. But every other author *absolutely* does.

If there’s an author you like, but who your civilian friends wouldn’t recognize by name, that’s an author who needs a preorder.

The sale only lasts for three days though! So if you shop at Barnes and Noble, and you think you might enjoy an educational graphic novel about wildfires, how they work, and what we can do to manage them, then consider taking advantage of this sale while it’s on!

I haaate that these jerks are using AI to write the bodies of their emails now. It’s so insidious. Never thought I’d feel nostalgic for the era when all these scams were form letters
