Gerry Conway has sadly passed away at the age of 73.
He co-created the Punisher, Ben Reilly, Jackal, Man-Wolf and the first Ms. Marvel.
He also wrote one of the most iconic comic book stories in history — “The Night Gwen Stacy Died”

One of it not the strongest Weekly Shonen Jump author comment I've ever read.

Kanade’s brother running in with a bat and calling the cops on him while the opening plays is probably one of the funniest moments in the franchise

When Geoff was talking about the long-awaited return of a legend, he was actually referring to the champion Sebulba

Kamen Rider Geats has finally won! Thanks for all the help!
No idea what he’ll get yet, but here’s one of my favorite matches for Ace in the meantime! The immortal champion of Mortal Kombat and newly crowned Fire God, Liu Kang!

"you have not played the game unless you've played the game" is one of my more annoying but unshakable opinions
the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information

The final season of MHA is like if the cope of OPM S3 locking the hell in to blow people away actually came true
Despite the issues with the series' climax, I'm happy the anime is going all out and giving everyone the same feeling they had watching Deku vs Todoroki back in 2017

Despite the quality of the show itself, Netflix DMC was pretty big and got a ton of newcomers into the series so including it makes sense
There is literally no reason to include Until Dawn (let alone over Sonic 3?) nor is there any reason to spend brain power remembering its existence

Expedition 33 will win GOTY, the devs will make a speech about how they love and were inspired by JRPGs and how people should give those games a chance and the next day the press will be like "Expedition 33 wins GOTY and proves the west has STOMPED JAPAN IN THEIR OWN GENRE"

YOUR FRIEND WHO WAS TOO INTO COMICS GROWING UP: They actually did that as a whole arc in the late 80s. Wasn't Conway's best work.
