Crocheter, tatter, journaler, skier, dogmom. Not in any particular order.
That would be cute too, thanks 🌻🌸🌺

Yes! If you are in the Denver or Pueblo area you should look into the Rocky Mountain Lace Guild. It’s a nice community :) www.rockymtlaceguild.org

I saw a physical tatting book made by AI last month. A fellow lacemaker (new to tatting, she does bobbin) had bought it trying to improve her skills and got frustrated with it and tried to donate it to our guild library. It was absolute nonsense and was mostly words (that alone was a dead giveaway)

Also the price for shuttles is wrong…there are plenty of shuttles out there for <$5 (I got my first set of 5 for like $12) and they work just fine for really delicate work.

These look really nice. Some local coffee shops sometimes let people rent shelves and sell merch, might be worth looking around for that in your area. You could also donate some to local churches and community centers if you have lots.

When I have to cut something out twice in the same sitting is when I know it is time for a break :) it does hurt to have to cut and piece it back together.

Thanks! They are actually just regular rings done in closed rounds behind each other (join the last to the first). The part that’s esp cool is that the pattern does several half-stitches then the other halfs, to get kind of an opening petal effect. Kind of shows off how tatting is like tiny macrame
