Four years since Nairobi.

On this day, I remember one of the most meaningful journeys of my journalism career, receiving the Earth Journalism Network Asia-Pacific Fellowship to cover the UNCBD 4th Working Group Meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, in June 2022.

In 2020, I was honored to receive the @ire.org Conference Fellowship from Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2021, I voted as an IRE member in the Board of Directors election. Those moments reminded me journalism matter.

Congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected 2026–27 IRE Board of Directors.
