She/her. Just a girl in the world.
I showed this anime to my wife and it was very interesting because it had been a bit since I'd last watched it (I showed it to my roommates back in college). There are a lot of neat moments throughout, but also some parts that felt a bit rough? But the entire thing is worth it for the final episode.

Video game news and reviews is what first comes to mind. A lot of what I know about the goings on in gaming comes from your feed.

That, and dealing with shitty neighbors/management at your apartment 🫠

That is still just so much rigatoni

They pretty well correctly identified me, which is to say a real mix of things. My parents grew up on different parts of the east coast, and I grew up in Colorado which gets a lot of influence from Texas and California. So you can see that the spread between my most and least similar cities is small

This was a useful thread, if you didn't already see it: bsky.app/profile/devo...
Gamescom AI Slop Thread.

Every game from the Gamescom Opening Ceremonies that was actually AI Slop so you don't have to care about it.

I was going to get Pokopia, but knowing that I'm not getting any other games for it anytime soon I decided to pick Mario Kart so I can play it with my wife. Maybe I'll get Pokopia for my birthday or Christmas or something.

Cool about the income! But yes, bummer about missing the price change. I just managed to get enough together and bought one, though I've only managed to play it for like an hour all told. 🫠

Well in case you missed it, Phoebe and I renewed our vows, exchanged swords, and she's taking my last name. That's what I've been up to.

Thanks <3 We did it partly so our marriage license has my correct name, partly because she wants to take my last name.

Like, I'd have to imagine the space they have is too small for whatever it is they need to do, so part of their daily activity is like, folding up a bed, moving a table, etc. And then having to undo it all when they get to the end of their day?

I would love to know, too, because the way you describe it is so baffling.

Cute! We have a collection of Harvest Moon sheep that we slowly acquired over the years, though it's been a minute since we added to the flock (it's gotten increasingly hard/expensive to get them). We have 7 in total.

Hate that feeling, very familiar with it as someone who cooks a lot.

Oh, I saw Walk the Line with my friend and the girl he was trying to date at the time. Weird experience, didn't enjoy the film. I don't like Johnny Cash's music, so there was just nothing in it for me besides being a wingman.

That sounds like the perfect way to enjoy it. I did (possibly still do?) just not like that particular style of comedy, so I doubt it would have landed regardless.

I've seen both and yeah, can agree both are quite bad (thankfully I didn't spend money to see either one).

My worst moviegoing experience was seeing Kung Fu Hustle in theaters, but that was half I didn't like the movie, half some personal issues I had going on at the time.

I enjoy Narita Brian x Mayano Top Gun. I feel like Brian gets paired up more with Hishi Amazon, which I get, but I like the contrast Maya brings to the dynamic. She's cute and small but still acts like she's on equal footing with Brian.
