I'm really tired of the "vote blue" slogan. Yes, it's important. But moreso is VOTING IN PRIMARIES so we have decent candidates to vote for! I mean, Fetterman is my "blue" senator, for chrissakes.

Chemist pet peeve: amino acids are compounds that have an amine functional group and a carboxyl acid group. Given taurine does not have the second, it is NOT an amino acid, rather it is an aminosulfonic acid. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I'm getting tired of people saying stuff about how awful it is that our soldiers are dying. Of course it is.

I was at the grocery the other day and got a trainee cashier who was being assisted by a bagger who seemed to also be her trainer. The trainer kept coughing. There was an issue that required a manager, and this conversations ensued.

Guys, this was MUCH more useful than CPR (which you tend to forget cause you don't ever use it) and MUCH MORE DETAILED than a regular first aid course.

Weird. I got a call from "Ross Auto Repair," not my mechanic. Answered and he said, "Hi, I'm an officer with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, how are you?". I replied, "Fuck you.". No idea what that was about; also it was weird he had an accent.
