This afternoon, Heather Cox Richardson talked on YouTube about the Congressional Review Act, and how Trump wants to use it to sell off our public lands.

She urges everyone to contact Congressional Reps to let them know we won't stand for this. Here's the scoop:

Per Robert Frost:

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Rep. Al Green making a great point about impeachment, invoking a quote attributed to Gandhi:

First they ignore you.
Then they laugh at you.
Then they attack you.
Then you win.

Things may look impossible. But if we remain relentless, we will ensure that the rule of law will prevail.

Have courage.

Almost every line of this story would have been simply unbelievable a few months ago:

—Now indefinite ICE detention in Louisiana;
—"Crime": not declaring some frog-embryo samples for research.

Unlike 2 immigration lawyers who received email—the doctor never had anything to do with immigration in her life.
