In fact, it’s the whole reason why you take a deposit to start off with. It’s to protect you and your time from people that don’t show up or waste your time

2/2 Alternatively, depending on your T’s&C’s and or your rapport with him, you can just hold his deposit until he gets back to you and arranges a new time.

Either way, you should not have to miss bookings for his indiscretion, even though it may be innocent on his part.

From the perspective of a client, all I can say is he paid a deposit for a date, time, and duration with you.

If he has missed his appointment and is not contacting you, then you are entitled to keep his deposit as he missed his appointment time, and therefore wasted yours. 1/2
