Another truly magical musical adventure with QYouth has come to end!! So proud of our young people all performing with confidence and great gusto
Adapted by @JamesWatson & @AndrewLinham from Kenneth Grahame's classic original tale with truth, humour and authenticity, this has been a joyous journey.

Taking a few quiet moments at RSPB Rye Meads watching Little Egrets, swans, lapwings, gadwalls coots and cormorants...Resident kingfishers were elusive this time... I shall return with fingers crossed!

Strong, committed character choices, filling the spaces!!
Joyous!

3 -... Much better than being cast as an angel, almost as good as being a Wise Man!!
And rememberances wouldn't be complete without a mention of Ginny Graham - director, mentor, and valued friend... If you know, you know...

2 - I also thank Jean McKenzie (my primary school teacher aged 10-11) who saw a glimmer of something and encouraged a shy pupil to read in a carol service - who lit the spark of a love of language through reading a passage from the King James Bible in the school nativity to a captive audience....

1 - On this day when many celebrate the strong women who gave them life, I give heartfelt thanks to Beryl, Nell and Rose - much missed and remembered... They've all been with me this week...

Another term's project @East15 completed. Cert.HE students exploring classic text: "Measure for Measure" - complex, but still so relevant!
"Why this play? Why now?.... "

Looking forward to a "Pause to be Positive" with young adults during my #NTSpeakUp session at #LimeAcademyForestApproach. Part of the work currently supported by #NTEducation alongside their funding partners.
