If the idea that we will continue to fail against nonconsensual use of our biometrics, if we accept surveillance tools developed and deployed with impunity in the West Bank, then we effectually dissolve the brain cells that would allow us to imagine an alternative.

the movie definitely does not pass the bechdel test. It’s basically a political drama about a young cyborg girl who is barely sentient, but she has the power to blow everything up, and so she does.

All sorts of people are calling for a boycott for all sorts of reasons, and I can’t help but yearn for a more direct way of addressing fascism than a single game boycott.
