Dear Steph and Mooks,

Saw Rude’s show in Edinburgh Friday night. It was swell. He knows his way around a country western song. Realized when I googled him that I had met him at a good friend’s party many years ago. We talked about vintage Republican rat bastards

Pathetic, contemptible failure of elites, everywhere you look.

Americans are relearning the lesson we learned during the Gilded Age of the late 1890s, when robber barons ran the government and the economy for their own benefit: Oligarchy is incompatible with the common good.

I'm hopeful we'll respond with a new progressive movement.

As a longtime listener and SL tour attendee, I need a favor.

Could you call Alan Dershowitz Mr. Underpants or Lawyer McUnderpants if his name comes up this week?

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Love you all,

Best take so far!
I have now seen the Ann Telnaes cartoon of Jeff Bezos's supplication before Donald Trump more often today than I've seen any other cartoon during the entire rest of the year.

So, well played, Washington Post.

Take a look at what we've accomplished in Illinois:

Balanced budgets
Guaranteed paid leave
Rebuilt our infrastructure
Increased health care access
Lowered education costs
Enshrined the right to choose

I look forward to getting more big things done for the people of our state.
