One thing I’ve noticed, every act has called Ed Sheeran a long time friend, talked about how long they’ve known him and how grateful they were for the opportunity. Ed Sheeran on the other hand did the I Don’t Know Her.gif when talking about Macklemore.

There were a lot of parts of that statement that felt gross, but this is such a good one I didn’t notice. Talking about Macklemore like he was a guy off the street who asked to be on his tour on a whim.

& yes, this is something i’ve noticed heavily amongst the (white) far left

while on the one hand, you have people who *only* care about the issues that affect them; i have noticed over the last few years on the flip side of that, that it’s rather trendy (for lack of better term) to support causes that don’t require much inner work and reconciliation with oneself
