Very unpopular opinion: banning AI in reviews is stupid. AI already does better job than ~80% of reviewers. And more detailed job than 98%. (Percentages invented)

They do. NeurIPS attendance is 5x-6x accepted papers papercopilot.com/statistics/n... So "present in person" would not solve things.

10x is not very realistic. Again, NeurIPS grew 10x in 10 years on acceptance and submissions. Higher in attendance, but not 10x in couple years.
