(1/2) Turns out that this broken $50 Xbox was a bit more work than I originally bargained for. Once I got the fans swapped out, I found a damaged microchip that needed to be resoldered (can you tell it was my first time? lol) but once that was all fixed, I got everything put back together and...

Small update on the $50 Xbox One X. I took it apart, cleaned it up, put on new thermal paste and swapped the HDD for an SSD. Tbh it seemed to be going well but sadly it was still overheating. Turns out the fan is ded. Ordered a new one but till then I guess I'll improvise lol
