6/ Let me know your comments below.

In the meantime, I've created a playlist of real singers who don't need this autotune madness.

Enjoy...

5/ I think people need to demand this return to real music, otherwise we'll be stuck with the fakery the music industry wants to force down our throats, or rather, into our ears.

But it must also come from the artists themselves, in a bid to be transparent and show integrity.

4/ I don't think enough people are aware of how widespread this is, but ultimately what many want is a return to reality.

We need an organic music movement, even a certifying body, to label music, live and studio performances, as we do with organic food.

3/ But these techniques to fake performances are rarely admitted to. In fact deception and outright lying is usually the name of the game, whilst fans are being taken for a ride.

Fil from youtube.com/@wingsofpegasus is doing a stellar job of exposing this, to the horror of the fans.

2/ So singers are all hyper 'in tune', but they all sound the same, and robotic.

However, this also creates vocals that are humanly impossible to recreate live. So more and more, singers are resorting to autotune and lip syncing live as the bar has been set too high to sing.
