Settler colonizers’ end goal is total obliteration. They aim to take as many lives as possible because they do not see those they oppress as human. And for that, accuracy is not mandatory nor is it preferred. Instead, the more they can dehumanize, the easier it is for them to massacre.

Enjoying bluesky so far. Unfortunately, every popular social media platform thrives on gaslighting and trolling. In the long run, I don't expect it to be any different here. Staying vigilant.

Oppression is legal. Ethnic cleansing of Indigenous people. Slavery. Segregation Mass incarceration. Internment camps. Redlining. All upheld by law. Repression of those who resist starts not at mass protests, but with criminalizing the communities who stand to benefit the most from rebellion.

The Green Party only getting roughly .5% of the popular vote doesn't negate the momentum that 3rd parties gained in this election. There's an opportunity to harness that momentum if people are willing to 1) be humble, and 2) prioritize principles over personalities.

Coming to a hood near you. The US surveillance state has been growing for a while, but I anticipate seeing a massive expansion of drone/camera surveillance in the next year or two. As usual, "the illegal immigrant invasion" and "terrorists" (i.e., protestors) will be used as justification.
