Passive acoustic monitoring is a powerful way to detect birds. Researchers from my institute contributed to the first annotated dataset of bird vocalisations, which will advance automated bird detection algorithms.
Dr Attisano & Prof. Theuerkauf contributed to first 🌍 annotated dataset of 🐦vocalisations: 91,931 recordings from 1,192 species across 13 biomes. The dataset supports training & validation of automated bird detection algorithms.
