None of us needed that image, Patrick.

I don't understand this ad. Beyond the bad cut at the end that's obviously a mistake, what is this ad trying to communicate?

I hadn't heard of this campaign so watched the NBC News story via the link. I loved learning that "Meth, I'm on it" followed another humdinger of a campaign, "Don't jerk and drive." (I'm not kidding )

The NYT is one of the world's greatest newspapers, but its headline writers often let down its journalists. Baker wasn't "felled by" scandal, as if an axe falling from the sky lopped his head. He defrauded and betrayed people. He made choices.

We want this guy to win. He's a good candidate, AND he's running against the awful Max Miller, who allegedly assaulted his ex-wife and broke his daughter's collar bone. A Poindexter win over Miller would be good for America.

Even the people standing directly behind him at the rally seem bored. I think we've reached the stage where a great many Americans expect their president to say insane, psychotic things on a regular basis and can't be bothered to care.

You could also call it A Day in the Life of Speaker Mike Johnson, as he's routinely the least informed person in D.C. about current events.

This is gross. They are now helping to steal money from taxpayers. I'll be skipping MSNOW programming while these ads are run.

In contrast to so much of the foolishness we see these days about what "real masculinity" is, Michael J. Fox shows what a life of strength, decency and purpose truly looks like.

Hard agree. He's a scary individual and should never ever have been nominated for a position of public trust.

Hegseth makes me feel ashamed to be an American, and I can't force myself to watch or listen to him. I'm curious, however, if there were any shots of the crowd as he spoke. I can't imagine any of the real military leaders received his message with enthusiasm.

Yeah. I saw this interview a long time ago, and I can't bear to watch it again. Hackman's pain is visceral, even decades later. It feels too raw, too deep to be brought before the world. I felt very protective of him when I watched this the first time.

I have adopted two black rescue dogs. They have brought so much joy to my life.
