Mother’s Day a year ago, my hubby gave me a mini rose 🥀 plant. It was lovely until it started to die. I cleaned its roots, sprayed its leaves, & repotted it. Did great until it didn’t. So, this time I planted it outside & cont’d to nurture it. I so proud of it surviving into a brand new bloom!

Which brings me back to El-Sayed. In supporting Medicare for All, he’s basically calling for an end to the partial, parasitic privatization of a healthcare system that is already hugely dependent on public funding. When one looks at it that way, it’s not at all a radical proposal.

Clarence Thomas says the 14th Amendment should be read narrowly because it was written for formerly enslaved people.
By that logic, the 2nd Amendment was written for muskets, not AR-15s.

First grandson graduated today amidst a heat advisory! This is us gathering afterward. My hubby, my four adult children, one husband, one ex-husband, seven of our eight grandchildren, and me! One wife and one granddaughter stayed home as the journey for them is long.
