We need to make Chicago safe for everyone to bike around, and we need to elect a City Council that will prioritize this work.
As a community organizer, l've been advocating for safe streets for cyclists in Lakeview, and I will continue to do this work as the next 44th Ward Alderman.

I’d very happily support street closures at every school in the 44th Ward! It keeps kids safe and provides space for them to play before and after school
Rode by the Lincoln Elem pick-up street closure yesterday! I’m so happy CPS schools are adopting this! We’ve been asking our alder for 2 yrs for this on Aldine (a designated greenway! 85%+ kids living w/in 1 mile!) & we don’t have it. The school security was happy to talk about it w/ me bc it works!

It’s time we start addressing the housing crisis with the urgency it deserves. When I’m Alder, I’ll proactively upzone Lakeview to make it easier to build dense affordable homes in the neighborhood.

And I’ll do more than just replace rotting bike racks. I’ll put in safe protected bike lanes too
These rotted away bike racks by the Southport Ave Jewel are a perfect representation of how much care and attention Chicago’s 44th Ward alders have put towards the cyclist community.

More people showed up in support of Emmanuel Congregation than the antisemitic goof troop opposed to the continuation of a robust Jewish community and 500 new homes can we get some dubs in the chat

You can tell where the 44th Ward starts on Clark because you go from a beautiful protected bike lane to not even a painted bike lane or sharrow south of Irving Park Rd.
We need a connected bike grid now!
