Oh god please yes. I get exhausted by games that tend to invalidate elemental specialists by end-game.

I hate the trope where someone has something poignant or important or otherwise plot relevant that would be life-changing for the characters to hear but gets frequently blocked from revealing this info from phone calls or knocks on the door, kicking the can down the road until a heel-turn happens.
