This was timely for me, thank you! I'm trying to reduce screen time. I used to be a huge reader, but fell out of it. I recently replaced my old Kindle with a new Kobo Clara & have a couple massive TBR stacks to work thru. I'm still in the '2 pages & distracted' stage, but I'll get there!

Oh, and I love the fact that there is a STATS PAGE! I am such a sucker for stats...

It has 4 maps. This is a training mission that only uses one map, & mostly ground vehicles. It leaves out all the air support, sams, politics, refugees, nuclear, biological, & chemical warfare stuff. Definitely one of the more complicated games in my collection. But it's a long holiday weeekend!

End of Turn 1. lots of movement, lots of No Shots available. Wraith, Warhammer, & Atlas wasted the Warhawk though.

Bad Timing right after the holidays & before people have gotten tax refunds/bonuses? My wife is an author, was doing the con circuit for a bit. We had one that was the week before Black Friday. Attendance in general was low & nobody was selling much. Figured it was people saving for BF. Which Con?

This first mission was a Guided Tutorial, so I won, of course! I really liked having it Guided. Very clear examples with everything spelled out on how to get the Modifiers, how and why to interpret the AI and Commander cards. Looking forward to learning that stuff and doing it myself!

End of Round 3. The Phoenix Hawk got the Pouncer, who had jumped up to a roof top. And, the Locust finished off the TWolf after the Warhammer hit it hard.
