The absolutely unhinged things people said/say about gender-affirming care are rebutted within five minutes of speaking to a person getting it or a doctor administering it. That’s literally the bare minimum of effort required from someone with a prominent lectern in the media. And many won’t do it.

And I must reiterate, calling someone a "groomer" is an accusation of pedophilia, of child abuse. I won't mince words, that is what is being said here, it is the plain understanding of the term, and that is what Linehan means.

I want you to ask yourselves honestly, if a 50-something year old man started speaking to a minor who is cisgender, speculating what kind of pornography they watch, asking them if they've "groomed" (read: sexually abused) other minors, would that not be quite plainly sexual harassment?

I know what he means and it's probably too late for any help, because my brain is terminally internet-poisoned.
