I just spent 2 full weeks in Texas. The Dallas area I grew up in is so depressed so many vibrant business areas, shuttered, and abandoned. So many homeless You can see the decay caused by the Republican Party. Vote blue Texas. Save yourselves.

I haven’t forgotten! When I heard of her recent fraud, I remembered her vote. Textbook Quid pro quo. Trump DOJ dropped the investigation against her, she voted for their abusive nominee.
Sen. Susan Collins cast the pivotal vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh in 2018. He then helped overturn Roe v. Wade four years later. Now she’s battling for her Senate seat in the midterms, and abortion rights groups are betting that voters haven’t forgotten how she contributed to the fall of Roe.

I’m glad that gas is so expensive. I know it will impact the price of goods. But the upside is it will force us to conserve and consider alternatives More electric, smaller cars, keep cars longer etc. we are too disposable in our daily lives

Apparently it is of no concern to any Republicans that Trump and Bessent are taking in billions of dollars from plundered Venezuelan oil and nobody knows where the money is, where is has been going, if anyone is getting proceeds, with no accounting of any of it made available.

NPR had a nice segment on osama bin Laden yesterday. I didn’t know he was a Saudi and that backstory. Gives good context for today’s Saudi and Iranian situation.
