El-Sayed did what he had to last Sunday on Meet the Press. He proved to be a savvy, charismatic candidate with good ideas for healthcare reform. But he has a few bumps in the road. He needs to continue his outreach to the Jewish and Black communities who went for Haley Stevens in the primary.

@repwalkinshaw.bsky.social doesn’t grandstand. He does his homework, shows up, makes the right decisions, has a moral compass. He’s a great representative and should be a rising star in the Democratic Party. He deserves more attention from national media outlets.

Bingo. See my last post on this. Don’t give the Trump administration an excuse to declare martial law. Once that happens, it’s game over for the right to demonstrate, and for democracy. Martial law is the immediate precursor to a totalitarian takeover, including cancellation of midterm elections.
