I think my intense *fascination* with certain characters ((I don't feel the same way towards actual people, just the fictional ones)) stems from my ingrained behavior of hoping that when I make a mistake (no matter how small or insignificant) someone would just end me.

Remember this holiday season that many marginalized people don't have the luxury of putting aside politics. I'm a cis, hetero presenting, white dude, its easy for me to put politics out of sight and out of mind. But try to have some empathy for why others might feel the need to stay tuned in.
