Our analyses revealed some very interesting patterns of when (and how) different methods behave in various circumstances, resulting in a set of guidelines and recommendation for future LAI work on ancient datasets.

In this project, we carried out a huge number of population genetic simulations to evaluate the accuracy of some of the most popular methods for LAI and admixture dating in a range of scenarios covering various parameters of temporal sampling and composition of reference panels.
