I was in the Trade Center for lunch with a friend who worked there. We were on the 50th floor. Three weeks later a truck bomb went off in the underground garage. My friend had to go down the stairwell, and afterwards quit. I remember it like it was yesterday. Feb 26, 1993

After 9/11, I never went back to Manhattan. I never could face a blank area where the Trade Centers stood. A favorite place in my heart as a teen and in my early twenties. I visited every month. It was amazing looking out the windows that went from the floor to the ceiling down at the crowds below.

How 25 years have past and now 9/11 is upon us again. Where did the time go? I used to spend time in one of the trade centers, having friends work there; lunch and visits every month was great. When those buildings came down, my knees buckled. I never recovered from the devastation.
