Lots of folks are comparing McConnell’s vote today to Feinstein’s finals days in the senate. The main difference is that Feinstein was co-sponsoring legislation to expand voting rights, while McConnell voted to cut SNAP and end environmental protections.

Joan Trumpauer Mulholland was given a psychological evaluation. At 19 she became a Freedom Rider and was imprisoned at Parchman.

She later became the first white member of Delta Sigma Theta. #SheShed #VivaHerAlliance

Mike Johnson's decision to send the House home early — again — is fueling an increasingly bitter feud with GOP Rep. Thomas Massie over whether the speaker is using the calendar to dodge politically painful votes.
Johnson-Massie feud boils over: "Why are we taking days off our calendar?"
"Speaker Johnson has vacated Congress. Like I don't need to vacate Speaker Johnson," Massie told Axios.

Massie exposes the hypocrisy: Some members get to vote against bills they know will pass, giving them a convenient campaign talking point without changing the outcome.

New — I wrote about this weird thing where people within the Republican party keep being exposed as Nazis and the party then tries to claim each one is an aberration. The facts, as I lay out here, indicate otherwise:
Republicans don’t have a Nazi problem—they are the Nazi problem
A spate of recent revelations have shown the ideologies and their adherents are one and the same.

Ron White to Joe Rogan: Talarico didn't cost this state $6 million in fines and lawsuits, and that happened with Ken Paxton. Guess who paid that $6 million? You and me paid the $6 million for his bribery. His own party impeached him. He's a criminal. He's a piece of shit.

Are you tired of getting flooded by political text messages? You're not alone. 😒

All that noise leads to fatigue, and it spreads to the election.

Don't let the noise drown out your desire to help campaigns and causes you actually believe in.

👏🏼Give directly to them instead. 👏🏼

Not only did I meet Robert Kraft, I worked for him.

His kid Jonathan asked me to “remove the black music” from my gameday playlist in ‘94 & I refused so they fired me. I was the cheerleader director at the time.

I sued them for wrongful termination and won.

So yes, I know that motherfucker.
Did you ever meet Bob Kraft?

📌Cost of living: Everything costs too damn much

📌Foreign wars: Americans are exhausted by endless conflict

📌Israel-Palestinian conflict: Voters want a new approach
