When i worked for a crypto gaming company they wanted everything done on the chain. When I built that system me and my team were replaced with another that just used a database and faked the results.
Ages ago when I interviewed at Amazon someone said “We only hire people who are better than who works here” and I said “Well that must make everyone who works here feel like shit”. I did not get the job and now don’t own a boat.
