I finally saw The Odyssey and thought it was pretty fantastic--a genuinely innovative attempt to wed giant Hollywood moviemaking to a thoughtful, nuanced interpretation of a classic text. I want to give special credit to the (maligned) script, a remarkable feat of construction--AND the dialogue.>
