I loved painting Adam, and this one gave me the chance to experiment with a new shade of black. When mixed with my yellows, it made a fun range of warm greens. I always learn things when I paint U2.💛🖤
Happy birthday to Adam! Daffodils are his favorite flower, and that inspired PJ to write the poem "Carrying The Sun" and Kelly to paint a picture that is at least 50% yellow. Painting based on a photo by fandom legend Pradip Patel.

#U2 people! Please VOTE for my Adam painting!
Visit the link, load the images (sorry), and vote for Adam when he pops up. There are 300+ entries, but you probably will not have to load all of them. You can also choose nine other faves, but you don’t have to.
Thanks!!

Holy smokes, Jack, thank you!
Hey #watercolor artists, 14+ yrs ago, I first heard of Kelly Eddington @kellyeddington.bsky.social when the late, esteemed Roger Ebert mentioned her on Twitter.⬇️ I’ve since purchased a number of her original watercolor paintings and had one commissioned. She is among the best in the country.
