This is not the first time a malicious and/or incompetent @trimet.org driver has run me off the road at this spot. Any driver who crosses the Burnside Bridge should know there is a lot of bike traffic, and should know how to approach this stop safely - most do. June 19 around 5:20 pm.

When the OR leg. first proposed adopting the “Idaho Stop” law, there were letters to the editor warning of death and destruction. It’s been several years now, and it’s working fine. Yield means making sure it’s clear, which I definitely do because I’m the one who’d get smooshed.
This fixation people have on cyclists’ rule-following is so bizarre. All one has to do is watch any intersection with a stop sign to see the small percentage of drivers who actually stop.

Took advantage of the nice Thanksgiving weather to clean at least a month’s worth of road grime and pulverized leaves off my daily commuter. Cleaned and lubed the chain. Almost looking forward to going to work tomorrow.
