I did the same but used a fibermast and found out it does not really matter. Using the EFHW as an inverted V works great.

Op de camping is het nu 41 graden. Maar omdat het hele droge lucht is met af en toe een briesje is het redelijk te doen in de schaduw, op een stoel met een boek.
