Alice Walker first came on my radar back in the early 90’s. She really opened my eyes to how this country was still treating its Black citizens. I thought my generation (GenX) was going to be the breakthrough generation that got rid of the patriarchy, instead they embraced it & white supremacy.
In an effort to contextualize White America’s choice of Christian White Nationalism against their own best interest and in violent opposition of progress—been revisiting the Black Elder wisdom, available to the public during my lifetime (1987).
