Watching Mark Carney live, addressing the European Parliament, outlining the new Canada-EU alliance. The breadth and depth of vision is jaw-dropping. The world order is shifting on its axis.

Dear @mark-carney.bsky.social, we want to bring the relationship with Canada to the highest level possible.

I would like to work with you on opening the door for Canada to being the first associate member of the EU.

And create a common prosperity and economic security space.

Democrats keep trying to guilt-trip Canadians into backing down.
Fuck off. Deal with your own mess. This is your problem to solve, not ours.

Trump's attacks on our civil liberties didn't come out of nowhere.

The groundwork for his Orwellian surveillance state was laid by the post-9/11 PATRIOT Act.

Only one Senator at the time had the foresight to see what it would unleash.

OK kiddies, let's get a few things straight.

Piano: pee-AH-no, right? Therefore pee-AH-nist, not PEE-ah-nist

Kilometre: KILL-oh-mee-tur. Not kill-AW-mih-tur. Why?
Consistency! We say MILL-oh-mee-tur, not mill-AW-mih-tur.
Centimetre is SEN-ti-mee-tur, not sen-TAW-mih-tur

Thus endeth the lesson.

These snivelling cowards. Canadians will not forget that America treated Putin's Russia like its best friend and us like an enemy.

Ever.
Witkoff: "President Putin, thank you so much for having us. We were sitting outside just now, me, Jared, Kirill, Yuri, and we were talking about, when we retire, we'll have all these incredible stories and memories, and yours will be right at the top of it all."

One more time, for the folks at the back.
US corporate profits have hit a record high while employees’ share has fallen to 60 per cent, the lowest since the 1950s. "The gains that the top is seeing far, far, far outpace the gains — if any — that the bottom is seeing," says a policy adviser.

Canada’s counter-tariffs are more defence than offence — and that matters
Key objectives are import substitution and trade diversification, not changing trade policy in Washington

I've mentioned this before, but one reason Navarro, a talentless hack and liar, hates the Canadians is because they are extremely skilled and technically orientated trade negotiators and he keeps getting outplayed by them in any actual detail-orientated agreement.
Peter Navarro claims that Canadian officials are "some of the most dishonest people I've ever met. They stab you in the back ... they're screwing us"
