we had a bizarre amount of Gulls circling over the house this evening trying to catch, most likely, newly emerged flying insects. we’ve seen Gulls in this multitude many times before but didn’t expect to see this many over the house in Torquay area! so cool

Yesterday, judah and i went to DW and did some sea watching. We saw this beautiful summer plumage Great Northern Diver, and judah saw a Little Tern! I also had a look around the Warren and saw a Water Vole briefly, which was really cool.

i found an exciting weevil at Otter Estuary today called the Gorse Weevil, i’ve seen the species before at Dawlish Warren but i could never get tired of them!
