TOO BIG WORLD! "Once Velvet meets someone, it will remember them in any universe, recognize them in any lifetime, no matter what they appear to be." A red-haired, green-eyed Velvet staring up at the viewer. She's wearing a denim jacket and mismatched tie. The background is a magazine spread of various different outfits put through a halftone filter.

🍓 sweets for the sweet!
A reference page for an original character, VELVET. Includes a "splash" illustration where Velvet tripping over her own feet and trying to catch the paper spilling from her hands, one chibi Velvet who is raising a finger to her lips as though keeping a secret, a front and back reference of the character design, and depiction of the keys she keeps on her person at all times. The character of a maid who escapes an endless theatre performance, where wanderers are possessed by "roles" and repeatedly killed at the hand of an ever changing culprit in a thrilling mansion murder mystery. It has memories of being killed as well as being the killer, and sees itself as something eternally bloodied, so it dedicates itself to cleaning. NAME: VELVET [REDACTED] AGE: [REDACTED] PRONOUNS: SHE/HER, IT/ITS HEIGHT: 5'1" & 154 CM A character meant to be plot fodder. It somehow obtains a body of its own after The Manor collapsed. But what use is a role without a script to follow? BANGS - bangs look like blood dripping over face GLOVES - always on. TWO-PIECE SUIT - echoes a maid uniform with shoulder ruffles and back ribbon FRECKLES - red freckles are like blood splatter and appear where it received mortal wounds in the past KEYS - one for the manor, one for the servant's quarters THE RED HERRING THE KILLER MAID THE BAYONET THE SWITCHBLADE SETTING CO-WRITTEN WITH PRINCEHONEYTEA ART AND CHARACTER BY HEARTMUSH

one... two... three...
A girl with an eye patch smiles eerily at the viewer, saying "Velvet's gonna count to ten..." whilst holding up an ice pick. She looks like bad news!

grey wagtail
a long vertical piece depicting a girl with wings sprouting out of her uniform. she is looking over her shoulder at us as she effortlessly balances on a branch jutting out of the water. in the reflection of water underneath her, instead of a girl, we see a grey wagtail in her place.

AVARICE IS MY DARLING'S VICE is a comic about Charlie, an npc teen, who catches the attention of Thierry, his school's prince. This is bad news for Charlie, who has something to hide, and it turns out he's more connected to Thierry than he thought... (read right to left!)

Cover art of the OG Avarice Is My Darling's Vice chapter 1 zine that I did... shoutout to everyone who bought it. Sample pages of AIMDV chapter 1. Please read from right to left. Charlie has just come out of his school's boys washroom and he's smiling for once. He's thinking about how he's sooooooooooooooo honest and hard-working. Thierry sees him. Thierry: Charlie! Wow, you seem cheerful! Did you get some good news? Charlie is no longer smiling. Uhhh... what? He turns away quickly. Thierry: Wait, hold on! Charlie takes a tentative glance back. He notices Thierry's immaculately coiffed hair, Thierry's expensive smelling perfume, Thierry's perfectly ironed shirt, Thierry's brand new smartphone, Thierry's 9000 dollar watch... Oh my God. Thierry: Maybe you've heard already but I'm throwing a Halloween party. Thierry smiles brightly. Thierry: I think it'd be fantastic if you could make it, Charlie! Charlie is not really listening. He thinks about how Thierry is the richest most popular guy at their school, a stereotypical Prince Charming... AKA THE ONE GUY HE DOESN'T NEED IN HIS LIFE AS A RANDO!! Thierry: Well? Have any Halloween plans? I'm inviting everyone in our grade... Charlie, thinking: Why the hell is he talking to me anyways? I have no memory of ever striking a convo with this dude...
