Yes, absolutely. For example, if in the next few weeks, Trump sends ICE officers to polls, you know what you do? You go anyway, you throw them a middle finger, and you walk into the ballot box and don't let them intimidate you.

What you don't do is despair and stay home.
I said this in a thread last night and in a thousand threads before it, but you really are doing the work of those who would destroy democracy and the rule of law when you are a doomer.

You can be aware of — and vigorously oppose — the lawlessness of this administration without insisting on doom.

Are you going to fight with every rando on this site over this?

Effective 2025 federal tax rates paid by these corporations:

Alphabet: 8.01%
AT&T: 4.6%
Meta: 3.57%
General Motors: 3.09%
Amazon: 1.37%
Exxon Mobil: 1.31%
Disney: -1.57%
CVS Health: -3.88%

Income tax rate paid by the typical American: 14.5%

This is what a rigged system looks like.

One reason why I take such joy in noting how much of Reagan's agenda was passed by a Democratic House is to remind guys like this that ...much of Reagan's agenda was passed by a Democratic House
ALL those previous stops helped create Trump's constituency. Nichols STILL defends Reagan.

If that was MY record as a "politics expert," I'd have more humility in pontificating on what Dems should do. Arguably, if Dems had gone harder on holding the GOP accountable earlier, we wouldn't be here. /3

I fear I'm not being clear. This is the point: When El-Sayed invoked Usha/Papaw, he was making an argument *about JD Vance.* It's that Vance has cravenly compromised with racist elements within MAGA in ways that betray his own life experiences.

This is 100% accurate. That is what Vance has done.
Now that JD Vance is again pretending El-Sayed smeared Usha/Papaw, reupping this:

It is absolutely true that JD has compromised with some of the most vile racists in the MAGA coalition. JD hesitated before defending Usha against them. So El-Sayed is 100% correct:
