The mama tapir came by @casabentbill.bsky.social yesterday afternoon and we had a nice visit. She has some fluid around her eye that I need to show to the #tapirvet
She gave birth to a son last year and he's already out on his own now, as I haven't seen him for over a month.

Trying to work out how much sense this makes: I thought of an idea where Cambrian or Ordovocian characters talk about the seashore/land like it’s some arcane, hellish, void-like plane of existence that almost no one comes back alive from.
