Piecing my life back together bit by bit. And learning new stuff about myself as I go. Maybe a writer eventually. Surviving Retail Hell until that point.

Whether people like it or not Trans Rights is the domino that will bring down bodily autonomy for EVERYBODY. Gays. Women. The Disabled. Anybody they want to control.

This isnt a single minority issue, it's the floodgate. A pack of depraved, corrupt pedophiles believe they have the right to own you.
Trans rights is inherently a bodily autonomy issue. Just like abortion rights is. We can't have gender equity or reproductive freedom without trans rights. Full stop.

You can yell at me and make up shit that you claim I've said if it makes you feel better. I don't care. I'm right. And you know it.

Yes, I also got the email about Dj Cutman using genAI for his side projects. Spoke w/my peers about the matter, and since I've released tracks on GC, done collabs with Chris (which is why my name was brought up), plus my OWN community reaching out, here are my thoughts & what actions I've taken:

Stuff like this is why I wish so many of y’all would stop posting Twitter or Truth Social stuff here as “look at this” engagement.

Yes, the woman is a shit eating, piss drinking, ass sniffing, mold-brained ghoul, but spreading this kinda stuff honestly helps no one and does more harm than anything.
That patronizing “Pretending you won’t watch is adorable” quote from JK Rowling is from a parody account, people. Not sure what the “joke” is supposed to be, given that she verifiably says horrific things all the time, but all the same, let’s try not to be gullible.

TELL HIM "NO."

SOMEONE.

ANYONE.

TELL HIM "NO" FOR ONCE IN HIS MISERABLE FUCKING LIFE.

THIS NIGHTMARE COULD'VE BEEN OVER TEN YEARS AGO.
The National Weather Service is proceeding with renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America in all forecast products and maps. These sort of changes require extensive coding time for NOAA and NWS personnel to implement across so many different products that regularly reference them.

Grey DeLisle says she fears voice actors could be out of work within the next five years as AI continues to advance:

“Everything is going to computers, and it’s getting so good you can’t tell the difference. I mean, there’s just not a lot going on right now.”

Sometimes I browse through heritage auctions and I find the occasional odd gem, but today I stumbled upon the mother-load: these ridiculous grocery store ads promoting the release of The Jungle Book, and each one has me absolutely reeling. Sharing them here so you too can share in my bewildered joy

And that's part of what makes Abridged's take on Trunks so amazing. Regular series Trunks definitely realizes this too, but in Abridged he feels it down to his very soul and it pains him greatly (and hilariously).
when you realize all the heroes you grew up hearing about and also your dad are actually the dumbest motherfuckers around and just sort of accidentally stumbled into saving the world here and there

When Beverly wants to be reinstated in Starfleet after the events of “sub rosa” is there paperwork that has to explain the circumstances of her leaving and return?

I’m imagining a box on an Lcars display that says “alien sex-candle ghost”

It is checked.

In Massachusetts, we have a responsibility to protect the vulnerable and stand up for those who need it. We don’t throw trans kids under the bus for political points. We protect them—and all of our neighbors—because trans rights are human rights.

Level-5 has been very openly using Generative AI in their game development and are proud of it. This includes their newly announced titles such as New World of Steam, Yo-Kai Watch 2 and Curious Village Remake.

Findings from studies into whether dropping entire seasons at once has a detrimental effect on word of mouth, whether cancelling 9 out of every 10 shows almost immediately makes viewers reluctant to invest time into any new show, and whether or not water is wet are still pending.
A new report from Luminate has found that long gaps between seasons of streaming TV shows are leading to major losses in viewership.

More than a 1 year gap is seen to largely cause a significant loss in viewership.

NEW: The new Apple Watches double as AI-powered listening bugs for generating convo "recaps" or transcripts of any previous 15 seconds. But fear not, Apple says, this data isn't sent to Apple/gets encrypted, speakers aren't ID'd, and there's a chime for the 15-second thing. @lhn.bsky.social reports:
Apple Doesn’t Want You to Worry About the New Apple Watch’s Listening Features
The new Apple Watch includes several “intelligent” listening features that have privacy and security baked in. But the protections can’t change the facts of what the tools do.

I think if I had to choose a form of euthanasia for myself, I'd want to be eaten by Kirby. It's quick, seems fairly painless, it's cute, Kirby gets to use my powers for a little bit until a sword enemy shows up so I know it's for a good cause, it'd be a decent way to go.
